Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving medical claims from healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring adequate supporting documentation, and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to determine if claims should be paid or rejected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process medical claims from healthcare professionals and patients
- Ensure adequate supporting documentation is provided
- Interpret EOB to determine claim eligibility
- Determine if claims should be paid or rejected
- Provide exceptional customer service via telephone, email, fax, or other available means of contact
- Recognize operational challenges and suggest recommendations to management
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in claim processing required
- Medical Billing Certification required
- Coding Certification required
- Ability to interpret EOB
- HIPPA certified
- Customer Service Experience preferred
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Working Conditions:
This is a 100% remote (work from home) contract role with IQVIA managed by an external agency, with the opportunity to be converted to an IQVIA full-time employee.
Compensation:
The pay range for this role is $23.00 per hour.
