Responsibilities

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking a Neonatologist to enhance our established practice.

  • Our Level-III NICU is equipped with 34 beds, an average daily census of 25, and handles approximately 4,000 deliveries annually.
  • We are the sole facility in the area designated as a Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, adept at managing high-risk pregnancies and critically ill newborns.
  • This multi-disciplinary practice comprises neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists, collaborating to deliver family-centered healthcare.
  • Our team is supported by various specialists, including pediatric cardiology, endocrinology, radiology, neurology, and orthopedics.
  • We foster a friendly and professional environment with exceptional nursing staff and ancillary services, including a dedicated PICC team and a full-time child life specialist.
  • Transport services are provided from regional hospitals, staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist.
  • Enjoy a schedule that allows for every other week off and the convenience of on-call duties from home.
