Key Responsibilities

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is in search of a Neonatologist to enhance our esteemed practice with over three decades of service at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

  • The Level-III NICU features 34 beds, an average daily census of 25, and handles approximately 4,000 deliveries each year.
  • This facility is the sole designated Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the region, adept at managing high-risk pregnancies and critically ill newborns.
  • Our multidisciplinary practice includes neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists, collaborating to deliver family-centered, high-quality healthcare.
  • Supported by a diverse range of specialists, including pediatric cardiology, endocrinology, radiology, neurology, and orthopedics.
  • Enjoy a welcoming and professional environment with excellent nursing staff and ancillary services, including a PICC team, IV therapy team, and a dedicated child life specialist.
  • Transport services from regional hospitals are staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist.
  • Work schedule includes every other week off with the ability to take calls from home.
