Job Overview

Cable Services Company Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bore Operations Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the operation of directional drill equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of communication conduits.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience operating directional borer equipment, preferably in the telecommunications field. They will be responsible for setting up and completing bore paths for the construction or upgrade of various utility lines, including gas, water, and sewer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading directional bore equipment safely and securely
  • Transporting associated tools and materials in a safe manner
  • Conducting daily inspections on bore equipment before commencing work
  • Preparing drill fluid based on site conditions prior to boring
  • Locating and operating directional drill equipment using selected bore heads and back reamers to place cables
  • Operating horizontal directional drill equipment according to company and industry standards
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Class A CDL
  • Previous rock boring experience
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering prints, plans, and specifications
  • Knowledge of utility depths and placements
  • General knowledge of construction practices
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition, we provide excellent benefits, including hotel expenses and per diem for weekly travel requirements.
