Trench Operator

Job Summary:

Cable Services Company Inc is seeking an experienced Trench Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations crew, you will be responsible for the installation of conduits and cables using directional bore technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate directional bore equipment to install conduits and cables in various environments
• Prepare drill fluid based on site conditions prior to commencing work
• Identify utilities in the construction area and bore path
• Connect and stub-up conduit and wire
• Dig pits, trenches or potholes as required including windows when crossing utilities
• Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment
• Adhere to all established company safety policies

Requirements:

• One year of experience operating a directional borer preferably in the telecommunications field
• Previous rock boring experience
• Class A CDL
