About the Role

As a Personal Care Specialist for Seniors with Interim HealthCare of NEPA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals who can provide one-on-one care and support to seniors in their own homes.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to our clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship. You will also assist with activities of daily living, such as ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.

In addition, you will provide medication reminders, document your client's condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns. Your attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a safe home environment will be crucial to the success of this role.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred
  • One year of experience in a related field; required
  • CPR certification; required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Benefits
