Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Revenue Management to join our team at Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the calculation of provider charges, maintenance of insurance documents and contracts, and ensuring the timely and accurate billing of claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient accounts to ensure timely billing and collection
  • Prepare and analyze productivity data and financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure accurate coding and billing practices, including research and resolution of coding discrepancies
  • Monitor collection percentages and prioritize follow-up with insurance and patients
  • Coordinate with Front Office Manager to ensure accurate data entry and billing practices
  • Participate in monthly budget meetings and provide feedback on charges, receipts, and adjustments
  • Supervise billing department personnel and manage time and attendance
Requirements
  • High school diploma required with demonstrated supervisory experience
  • CPC or CCS certification preferred
  • Strong computer skills in electronic medical records systems
  • Previous patient contact work in a medical practice required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and staff
