Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our ground-up healthcare and education projects in Colorado Springs, CO. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all stages of project development, from initial planning to final completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, updates, and financial statements to stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal construction regulations.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices.
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions.
  • A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of local and federal construction regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
