Role Summary
Databricks seeks a seasoned Contracts Analyst to bolster the Commercial Legal team. Reporting to the leadership of the Commercial Legal department, this position plays a crucial role in delivering legal support for the company’s revenue-generating initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the contract renewal process, including the review and processing of agreements and amendments.
- Engage in Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) evaluations.
- Provide comprehensive support to legal colleagues during contract negotiations, including gathering internal approvals and securing signatures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal repositories and systems.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with the team to prioritize tasks during quarterly sales cycles.
- A minimum of three years of experience within an in-house legal team or a legal firm.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
- Proficient in reviewing and comprehending legal documents and contracts (such as MSA, NDA, amendments).
- Proven experience in enhancing efficiency within a legal team in a rapidly growing business environment.
- Familiarity with tools utilized by in-house commercial legal teams to streamline the contracting process, including contract generation and routing tools, as well as electronic signature platforms.
