Position Overview: The Team Member plays a vital role in delivering the Caribou experience. This position is centered around providing outstanding guest service, crafting exquisite beverages, and embodying the Purpose and Values of Caribou in every interaction.

Responsibilities – What You Will Do:

Deliver exceptional Guest Service by: Establishing personal, ongoing relationships with guests, Practicing active listening and connection, Anticipating guest needs and proactively addressing opportunities through product knowledge and hospitality, Making enthusiastic and informed recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction, Creating memorable experiences that inspire positivity. Prepare beverages to order according to Caribou's standard operating procedures. Heat, prepare, and serve food offerings in accordance with Caribou's standards. Transition between barista and guest service roles, willingly fulfilling all team member responsibilities. Process guest orders and manage cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies. Maintain a clean and organized store environment by following cleanliness and sanitization standards. Proactively consider the future needs of the team and guests. Differentiate between issues that can be resolved independently and those that require leadership support. Understand the dynamics of managing multiple priorities and take direction from leaders.

Qualifications:

Required:

Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Minimum age of 16 years.

Preferred:

Experience in restaurant, retail, or guest service environments.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to see, hear, speak, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand for 4 to 8 hours, bend, and move intermittently during working hours. These physical demands can be met with or without reasonable accommodations.
