Job Summary:

Position Overview:

This role oversees and coordinates store operations in the absence of senior management to ensure optimal efficiency and economy of operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the work shifts of all department associates to contribute to the financial best interest of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor associate adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Operate cashier registers and courtesy counters, handle customer concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Understand and be familiar with store layout, safety equipment, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all areas, providing feedback to department managers.
  • In the absence of senior management, responsible for time clock maintenance and store closing procedures.
  • Assist customers with product location and provide a clean, attractive, and well-stocked store environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, food safety protocols, and guest experience standards.
  • May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Suggestive selling and product knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
