Key Responsibilities:- Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness: Proactively clean meeting, event, and general spaces to uphold the WUC's standards for cleanliness and orderliness.
- Event and Meeting Support: Assist with the set-up and breakdown of meetings and events, ensuring spaces are prepared according to specific needs and timelines.
- Safety Reporting: Actively report any safety and security concerns to the appropriate personnel, contributing to the overall safety of the WUC environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the custodial team and other WUC staff members to deliver seamless facility operations and event support.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service to all WUC guests and customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Additional Support: Assist WUC leadership as required, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Current student at Florida International University
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule based on facility needs and hours of operation
