Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Product Manager plays a crucial role in:

  • Gathering and analyzing customer requirements to inform product development.
  • Prioritizing product features and managing the release content.
  • Creating business use cases and collaborating with product development and validation teams.
  • Leading market introduction efforts, engaging with sales teams, customers, and industry analysts.
  • Aligning product strategies with Siemens PLM's overarching goals and internal processes.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Acting as the Product Owner for designated industry solutions.
  • Defining solutions and preparing development backlogs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand market needs and product definitions.
  • Developing and managing solution roadmaps, including MVPs and phasing plans.
  • Prioritizing deliverables based on strategic business objectives.
  • Working closely with development teams to ensure software aligns with requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in collaboration with delivery teams.
  • Partnering with Solution Directors to enhance cross-industry applicability.
  • Facilitating the flow of innovative ideas from industry experts to development teams.
  • Supporting alignment with Product Managers across various segments.
  • Assisting in product marketing and sales strategies for successful market validation.
  • Conducting product demonstrations for stakeholders.
  • Contributing to pricing and packaging strategies for products and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Over 8 years of experience with enterprise and SMB clients in key industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical devices.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software product development or implementation.
  • A minimum of 2 years in application software product management, including developing strategic visions and authoring product specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in PLM fundamentals, including CAD integrations and document management.
  • Experience in engineering and product development within the context of product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prepare and justify financial investments through business plans.
  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) is advantageous.
