Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Claims Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for resolving customer claims in a timely and professional manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Validate and manage tax exempt certificates according to state and job requirements.
- Submit credits/debits for incorrect tax applications.
- Communicate with credit/collections departments and customers.
- Process overages/shortages/freight/concessions.
- Investigate and resolve customer claims related to pricing, taxes, and warranty credits.
- Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer claims.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience.
- Strong business acumen and ability to make sound business decisions.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
