We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Claims Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for resolving customer claims in a timely and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Validate and manage tax exempt certificates according to state and job requirements.
  • Submit credits/debits for incorrect tax applications.
  • Communicate with credit/collections departments and customers.
  • Process overages/shortages/freight/concessions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer claims related to pricing, taxes, and warranty credits.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer claims.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
