Role Overview

The Global Client Executive, referred to as the 'Managing Partner (MP)', serves as the primary global account leader for one or more Strategic Customers. This role is pivotal in driving comprehensive customer engagement, ensuring the adoption of innovative solutions, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a clear Account Strategy in collaboration with the Market Unit and the extended Virtual Account Team (VAT).
  2. Establish a multi-year roadmap with the customer that emphasizes innovation and transformation.
  3. Design a governance model that aligns both parties on strategic initiatives.

The MP is responsible for orchestrating SAP's efforts across various business lines, ensuring a unified approach to achieving the customer's strategic goals through a well-defined innovation roadmap.

Success Metrics

The effectiveness of the MP is measured by growth in new bookings for cloud software and services, maintaining revenue streams, and improving customer satisfaction metrics over time.

Essential Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in Sales or Consulting within complex business software or IT solutions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry-specific expertise.
  • Experience in managing large accounts and leading account teams for at least 5 years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP's offerings, including services and support.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, with proficiency in the local language.
  • Strategic thinker with a high degree of creativity and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
