Strategic Philanthropy Leader

Lever for Change is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Philanthropy Leader to provide strategic support to the team and high-profile clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising and business development, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing creative strategies for donor outreach and cultivation, cultivating strategic partnerships, and building relationships with existing donors and prospects.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team and clients.
Additionally, the Strategic Philanthropy Leader will be responsible for managing outside vendors and contracts, and mentoring associates.
Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree or related experience, a minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising or high-end business development, and a compelling record of generating contributed or earned revenue.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating a complex and evolving organization, with an adaptable, collaborative, and strategic approach.
They will also have a creative, learning mindset, and be energized by interaction with clients.
Key skills include outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
The Strategic Philanthropy Leader will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
They will also be willing and able to travel regularly, including internationally.
The annual salary for this role will start at $145,600, and the position is based in Chicago, Illinois, with remote work options available.
