Nursing Leadership Opportunity
">Parkland Health and Hospital System seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee the Transition-to-Practice (TTP) Nurse Residency program. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting new graduate registered nurses (RNs) in their transition from academia to practice.
">Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
">About the Job
">This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program curriculum, managing the progression of nurse residents, and evaluating program effectiveness.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Designs and implements a curriculum that meets the needs of post-graduate RN programs.
- Monitors and evaluates program progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the TTP program.
- Maintains accurate records of educational activities and program progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To excel in this role, you will need:
">- A Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least seven years of experience in nursing education or leadership.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective educational programs.
- Current RN license and certification as a CPR Instructor.
