Job Summary

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Community Alumni Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the reintegration of individuals into their communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote community reintegration and support for individuals transitioning from correctional facilities.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to provide counseling and rehabilitation services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to ensure seamless support for individuals.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to staff on best practices in community reintegration and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
  • Experience working in correctional settings or with individuals with mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
