Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Community Alumni Coordinator to join our team at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals with developmental disabilities into their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to support individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Collaborate with correctional program staff to ensure seamless transition of individuals from correctional facilities to community-based programs
  • Provide counseling and support services to individuals and their families to promote successful reintegration into the community
  • Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and service providers to ensure access to necessary resources and services
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in behavioral health and counseling principles and practices
