Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sanitation Supervisor to enhance our vibrant team within the food production sector. This position plays a vital role in upholding the cleanliness and safety standards of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing and managing sanitation safety programs, Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS), and compliance with GFSI, HACCP, and SQF standards. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, along with the ability to lead the sanitation team effectively, ensuring all safety and cleanliness protocols are met while promoting ongoing improvements in sanitation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive sanitation programs, including chemical safety protocols and sanitation expertise.
2. Create, maintain, and audit the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to guarantee thorough cleaning and sanitization across all facility areas.
3. Supervise cleaning procedures, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry regulations.
4. Serve as the sanitation subject matter expert (SME), providing training and support to the sanitation team and other personnel as necessary.
5. Ensure compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
6. Continuously evaluate sanitation processes and procedures, driving improvements while maintaining the highest safety and cleanliness standards.
7. Collaborate with various departments to ensure sanitation practices do not disrupt production operations.
8. Lead and motivate the sanitation team, ensuring they are well-trained, competent, and performing their duties to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food production or manufacturing sector.
2. Proven track record in managing sanitation safety programs, Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS), and compliance with sanitation regulations.
3. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and regulations in the food industry.
4. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
5. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in sanitation practices.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and inspire a team.
7. Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including lifting and working in a dynamic environment.
8. A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
