We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to join our team in the food production sector. This role is critical in maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation programs, including chemical sanitation safety programs and sanitation subject matter expertise.
- Generate, maintain, and audit Master Sanitation Schedules to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and sanitized as per the set schedule.
- Oversee cleaning systems procedures to ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
- Act as the sanitation subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to the sanitation team and other staff as needed.
- Ensure the facility's adherence to Global Food Safety Initiative, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, and Safe Quality Food standards.
- Continually assess sanitation processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and efficiency while maintaining the highest levels of safety and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure sanitation procedures do not interrupt production schedules.
- Manage and motivate the sanitation team, ensuring they are trained, competent, and performing their duties to the highest standards.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the food production or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing chemical sanitation safety programs, sanitation subject matter expertise, Master Sanitation Schedules, and cleaning systems procedures.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations and standards in the food production industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement in sanitation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy items and working in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
