Overview:

The Corporate Communications Assistant Manager plays a vital role in shaping and implementing Honda Aircraft Company's global media and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visibility of the HondaJet and the Honda Aircraft Company brand on a global scale.
  • Conduct thorough regional consumer research to identify customer decision-making trends and translate findings into actionable marketing and communication strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets worldwide.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases and other media materials in both English and Japanese.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of press events at both national and international levels.
  • Manage social media initiatives and internal communication efforts.
  • Monitor media coverage across various platforms and formulate strategic responses.
  • Continuously analyze public relations and social media metrics to refine strategies.
  • Foster collaboration with other Honda divisions to strengthen the overall Honda brand.
  • Assist in managing resources and events within the division.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Linguistics, or Analytics is required.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong media relations skills and a genuine passion for communication.
  • Creative and insightful storyteller.
  • Exceptional writing proficiency in both English and Japanese, with the ability to produce official documents.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese communication.
  • Familiarity with social media and public relations analytics tools.

  • Open and effective communicator, willing to share ideas and challenge the status quo to support Honda Aircraft's objectives.

Physical Requirements:

1. Individuals may be regularly exposed to operational noise, temperature variations, and odors from aircraft equipment or fuel.

2. The role may require standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching for extended periods as necessary.

3. Adherence to safety regulations and professional conduct is essential.

4. Effective communication in Business English is required.

5. Ability to lift and move items up to 10 lbs. independently, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance when necessary.
