Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our client's dynamic team at Management Business Solutions. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring a tailored approach to meet their unique requirements.
  • Assess students' skills and learning requirements, utilizing a range of assessment tools and techniques to inform instruction.
  • Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of students, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and methods to engage and support learners.
  • Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive and inclusive environment, promoting social and emotional growth.
  • Employ a range of teaching techniques and methods to meet students' needs and capabilities, including the use of assistive technologies and adaptive tools.
  • Monitor students' progress and use data to adjust teaching strategies accordingly, ensuring continuous improvement and student success.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development, utilizing data to inform instruction and drive student outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education, ensuring a commitment to ongoing learning and growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of special education.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification), with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, with a focus on student-centered learning and inclusive practices.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to work with students with special needs, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, with advanced knowledge of special education principles and practices.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs in a classroom setting, with a proven track record of success and student growth.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation, with a strong understanding of the importance of collaborative planning and student-centered approaches.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive tools for special education, with a commitment to using technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
