Job Title: Survey Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our team at 1 Alliance Geomatics, An Atlas Company. As a Survey Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing surveying and mapping projects, leveraging various survey methods, and ensuring accurate and reliable measurements of land and property boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage surveying and mapping projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Leverage survey methods, such as LiDAR mapping, photography, drones, GPS technologies, and conventional methods to map, as-built, retrace or construct project tasks.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and field survey activities to ensure Land Surveying (LS) team members adhere to internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Office work will involve field note reductions, traverse adjustments using Leica Infinity or other post-processing software, and preparing topographic maps using MicroStation Inroads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Post-processing, QA/QC, and deliverable generation, including data collection using GPS TPS, 3D Laser Scanning, and Photogrammetric technologies.
  • Computations and calculations for staking and layout.
  • Contribute to the development of LS capabilities by evaluating departmental equipment needs, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and integrating innovative Survey, Mapping and Geomatics technologies.
  • Supervise team throughout the planning, coordination, and execution of surveying projects to ensure accurate and reliable measurements of land and property boundaries.
  • Develop relationships with organizational leaders, stakeholders, and clients to identify and assess their business requirements, and subsequently recommend the best-suited method for their surveying need.
  • Develop processes for selecting and utilizing the most appropriate Surveying, Mapping and Geomatics techniques to ensure the delivery of accurate and informative surveys.
  • Evaluate individual performances during all project phases in order to more accurately assess training gaps and provide recommendations for improving training programs.
Requirements:
  • PLS Washington required.
  • 4 years minimum of professional experience.
  • 2+ years experience Project Management, Business Development is a plus.
Technical Requirements:
  • PLS Washington required.
  • Civil3D.
  • Microstation (Inroads / Openroads).
  • Microsoft suite.
  • Starnet.
  • Leica office software.
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Compensation:

$105k - $140k annual salary.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
