About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Survey Project Manager to join our team at SAM. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing multiple project managers, overseeing large-scale land survey projects, and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including work plans, staffing requirements, and budgets
  • Oversee the writing of scope, budget, and QAQC documents
  • Identify and implement procedures to maximize operating efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to measure productivity, goal progress, and activity levels
  • Mentor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential
  • Develop and present proposals to clients and stakeholders
  • Effectively interface with sub-consultants, clients, and other business relationships
  • Represent company interests in meetings and trade shows
Requirements
  • 7+ years of industry-related work experience in a professional or management capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to oversee, mentor, and motivate a project team
  • Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration
  • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale land survey projects
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage multiple registered surveyors, technicians, and field crews
  • Demonstrated success in business development, marketing, and networking
  • Successful experience in contract negotiations, budgets, and fee estimates
