Administrative Coordinator

The City of Collinsville is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Associate to join its Parks and Recreation Department. This full-time position will report directly to the Parks and Recreation Director.
This role provides clerical and administrative support to the department, including data entry, software management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Parks and Recreation Department.
- Manage data entry and software programs.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to the public.
- Coordinate facility rentals and special events.
- Maintain records, supplies, calendars, schedules, and files.
Requirements
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of administrative experience. Knowledge of administrative procedures, Microsoft Office, and office terminology is highly desirable. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including strong spelling and grammar, are essential for this role.
Compensation
The salary for this position is negotiable, with a hiring range expected to be between $39,520.00 - $43,638.40/year.
