ATG Recruiting is seeking an experienced Truck Driver - Regional/OTR Class A CDL to join our team. As a Regional/OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient driving record.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a 53' Dry Van truck, hauling a variety of cargo, including dry goods and refrigerated products.
- Operate a 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia Automatic Fully Loaded, equipped with a refrigerator, APU, and 1500 watt inverter.
- Deliver goods to distribution centers and customers, following a predetermined route and schedule.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and loaded, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- At least 3 months of experience in the past 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive pay rate, ranging from $.54 to $.60 cpm, depending on experience.
- Detention pay of $12.50 per hour after 2 hours.
- Layover pay/breakdown pay of $100 per day, excluding Sundays.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days.
- 401K plan with a 4% match after 6 months.
- 1 year of service = 1 week of vacation.
- 3 years of service = 2 weeks of vacation.
- 7 years of service = 3 weeks of vacation.
- 15 years of service = 4 weeks of vacation.
