Job Title: Truck Body Repair Technician I

At Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Body Repair Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our Field Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to truck body repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform small panel and bumper replacement/repair, parts removal, caulking/sealing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist more senior technicians with repairs and continue to learn advanced mechanical skills.
  • Comply with all company policies and achieve high performance metrics.
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools, as well as safety equipment such as lifts, jacks, and stands.
  • Accurately complete all forms of documentation, including job descriptions and worked hours.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and work within or close to Standard Repair Times.
  • Communicate with Shop Manager and support team to discuss RO findings and notes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire.
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in truck service and/or repair experience or technical school education or equivalent combination of education/skill/experiences.
