Job Title: Cabinet Delivery Driver

Countryside Cabinets is seeking a reliable and skilled Cabinet Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Cabinet Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering cabinets to our customers throughout the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 26ft box truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, including accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all deliveries.
  • Double-check all orders delivered for damage, completion, and payment requirements.
  • Be proficient in performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
  • Schedule flexibility is required, as routes include interstate and intrastate deliveries.
  • Limited overnights may be required.
  • General housekeeping is required in the department and company vehicles.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 23 years old or older for insurance purposes.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience driving a 26ft box truck is a plus.
  • Must be able to work up to 14 hours a day, once or twice a week, for longer deliveries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and safety is critical.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer orders and PO numbers and codes.
  • Willingness to learn all shipping functions and ability to participate in cross-training.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • This position requires sitting for long periods of time between deliveries.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to lift, pull, and push.
  • Frequent overhead lifting, pushing, pulling, grabbing, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and stepping up onto/into and down from vehicle.
  • Constantly lift and/or move and/or manipulate up to 40 pounds.
  • Frequently lift and/or move and/or manipulate 50-75 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move and/or manipulate 75-120 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
