Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for receiving medical claims from healthcare providers and patients, ensuring the accuracy of claims, and determining payment eligibility.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process medical claims from healthcare providers and patients
- Verify the accuracy of claims and ensure compliance with program rules
- Determine payment eligibility and make recommendations to management
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers
- Work collaboratively with the team to resolve operational challenges and improve processes
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in claim processing and medical billing
- Medical Billing and Coding Certification
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- HIPPA certification
- Customer Service Experience preferred
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
