About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled U.S. Property Claims Officer to join our Aon Global Risk Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in empowering our clients to achieve their goals by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice and guidance to Aon's team of property claim advocates on the application of property policy terms, coverages, exclusions, sub-limits, and deductibles.
  2. Consult with and advise clients on strategies to maximize property insurance coverage for claims presented by Aon.
  3. Collaborate with senior property insurance claims executives at Aon's partner property insurers to resolve escalated claims.
  4. Consult with and advise property insurance brokers on policy wordings and craft manuscript wordings as needed.
  5. Assist the U.S. Property Claims Officer as needed on a wide variety of claims and broker support projects.
  6. Participate in meetings with and proposals to current and potential clients to demonstrate claims team expertise.
  7. Author articles demonstrating thought leadership on property insurance and claims topics.
  8. Speak and present at internal Aon meetings and external programs to demonstrate thought leadership.
Qualifications
  • J.D. and at least ten years of complex commercial property insurance coverage claims experience.
Travel
  • The U.S. Property Coverage Officer position requires 15-25% domestic travel.
