Contract Duration: Long-term Contract
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm
- Evening Shift: 3 pm to 11:30 pm
- Night Shift: 11 pm to 7:30 am
- Weekend Shift: 6 am to 6 pm
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates based on shift
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Production Machine Technician will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to support manufacturing processes. The role involves:
- Executing standard machine shop and press operations.
- Operating production machinery in accordance with established protocols.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents.
- Accurately documenting production metrics, including good and defective parts.
- Utilizing hand tools effectively for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining an organized inventory of materials at workstations.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identifying and reporting product defects.
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Maintaining accurate records and timely reporting.
- Adjusting machine settings as required for task completion.
- Using safety equipment and reporting any safety concerns.
- Troubleshooting basic quality issues as they arise.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
The role requires:
- Regular lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Performing repetitive tasks with precision.
- Manual dexterity for assembling components.
- Understanding safety data sheets and handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Capability to stand, sit, bend, and reach as needed.
Work conditions may include:
- Exposure to constant noise.
- Dust and grease.
- Visual demands for near and far sight.
- Hearing requirements (aids permitted).
