Position Overview:
A Senior Equipment Technician plays a critical role in delivering engineering support, conducting problem analysis, and offering technical assistance while driving process enhancements on various complex automated machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver ongoing on-site support by collaborating with Fabrication Setup personnel, Toolmakers, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring production targets are achieved.
  • Provide technical guidance in the development of new products and continuous improvement initiatives through the design and procurement of equipment, materials, and tooling.
  • Analyze detailed machine specifications to facilitate production enhancements and minimize scrap rates.
  • Assist in the mechanical and electrical operations of intricate automated machines.
  • Work closely with the Quality department to uphold and enhance product quality standards by optimizing machinery, materials, and processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to implement lasting corrective actions for issues beyond specific projects.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the components and functionalities of automated machines that shape materials using dies and punches, including their operation, uniqueness, and maintenance to maximize production efficiency and meet quality standards.
  • Utilize measuring instruments and standard mechanical tools effectively.
  • Actively engage in cross-functional teams to promote sustained improvements in production and machine operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical, Tooling, or Manufacturing within an Automated Industrial Environment is preferred.
  • Self-driven to innovate and explore new technologies for continuous upgrades.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
