As a Full-Time Retail Reset Sales Consultant for Acosta/Berg, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the industry. We are seeking experienced professionals to become part of our successful team. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for implementing in-store shelving standards, selling promotional opportunities, and advocating for our client brands in smaller retail environments.
This position involves physical tasks such as lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases of various weights throughout your work period. Additionally, it requires bending, reaching, and squatting to manage and adjust products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive market growth by covering Independent Retail Convenience Stores supplied by cash & carry, grocery stores, and c-store distributors in your designated area.
- Oversee sales, distribution, and merchandising of our brand portfolio within your assigned territory.
- Deliver professional product presentations to current and potential retail clients.
- Meet sales targets and enhance brand visibility.
- Establish lasting relationships with store managers and owners by providing valuable consumer insights and recommendations.
- Utilize iPad technology for daily and weekly sales reporting, consistently demonstrating company values in all business interactions.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Essential Skills for Success:
- 0-2 years of experience in retail, client relations, or food brokerage.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Professional sales demeanor.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about delivering exceptional client service and surpassing sales objectives.
- Outgoing and assertive personality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
- Personal vehicle necessary for accessing multiple store locations during your shift.
- Familiarity with iPad technology is advantageous.
Valuable Experience:
Experience working in a retail or grocery environment, including understanding store operations, managing inventory, stocking shelves, and ensuring product presentation.
