Position Summary
We are in search of a skilled Leasing Consultant to enhance our successful property management team. The Leasing Consultant will oversee all facets of the leasing cycle, from showcasing properties to potential tenants to conducting regular inspections of leased units. The ideal candidate will focus on achieving and sustaining high occupancy levels while maximizing client profitability. We are particularly interested in candidates for our portfolio in Koreatown.
Our properties primarily consist of renovated studio apartments without parking, situated in the vibrant Koreatown area.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote available properties
  • Manage marketing efforts, including ad campaigns on various platforms to ensure attractive representation of the units.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and provide information on available amenities.
  • Assist in preparing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with documentation, accurate application processing, income verification, and facilitating tenant move-ins, including Section 8 applications.
  • Organize open house events
  • Negotiate lease terms and finalize agreements
  • Maintain a high success rate in closing deals as per company policy.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure quality control during unit turnovers.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with residents, corporate staff, and site teams.
  • Demonstrate professional and friendly telephone etiquette and greeting skills.
  • Be self-driven and a positive contributor to the team with strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Possess knowledge of basic office operations and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate work effectively.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Ability to apply policies and procedures to resolve daily challenges.
  2. Familiarity with Fair Housing and Tenant-Landlord regulations.
  3. Capability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and remain sensitive to the needs of various populations.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage work activities efficiently.
  5. Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in computer systems.
We prefer candidates with experience in leasing across multiple properties and coordination with management and maintenance teams. Candidates should be prepared to lease units in Koreatown without parking. Additional desired qualifications include: a minimum of 2 years in real estate leasing, bilingual abilities, and a flexible schedule.

Compensation
You will receive a base pay of $22 per hour, along with commission opportunities of $150 for each lease successfully closed.
