Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Hardin Medical Center. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pain management program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to pain management patients, including hands-on patient care in both clinic and procedures settings.
  • Assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with physicians and APCs to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in intradepartmental meetings and in-services to stay informed of changes within the department.
  • Adhere to scheduling guidelines and expectations to reach pain management center patient per hour and referral management goals.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school or college of nursing.
  • Two years' experience as a clinical nurse in a hospital environment, preferably in critical care, surgery, or emergency department.
  • Current Tennessee State Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse with no restrictions.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS).

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds during a scheduled work shift.
  • Ability to see with corrective eye wear and hear clearly with assistance.
