Pain Management Clinician Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Clinician to join our team at Hardin Medical Center. As a Pain Management Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pain management program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care for pain management patients.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide hands-on patient care, including procedures and treatments, in a clinic and procedural setting.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential risks, and take immediate action to mitigate them.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with hospital and PMG policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required).
  • Two years' experience as a clinical nurse in a hospital environment, with a preference for critical care, surgery, or emergency department experience.
  • Current Tennessee State Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse license with no restrictions.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS).

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

  • Able to handle emergency and/or crisis situations.
  • May be required to wear protective equipment as necessary.
