Job Title: Cost/Pricing Analyst III

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Cost/Pricing Analyst III to support the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO) and the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition Special Programs Division (SAF/AQL). As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and guidance on cost and pricing issues to procurement personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide counsel to specialists on technical issues and practical advice on proceeding under specific circumstances.
  • Utilize knowledge of federal, DoD, and Air Force contracting and pricing regulations, policies, and processes for specific situations.
  • Assist Contracting Officers in determining cost objectives and ensure they are based on sound pricing principles.
  • Act as the primary cost/price analyst on extremely complex or sensitive contracting issues.
  • Review and evaluate contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Conduct in-depth analytical and judgmental evaluation of proposals to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Manage significant and complex agency acquisitions involving diverse supplies and services.
  • Evaluate technical, audit reports, and legal opinions to determine the various cost elements or justified exceptions.
Qualifications:
  • Master of Art/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Active and valid drivers license required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to successfully complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Poly).
  • DAWIA or FAC Level III certified or equivalent preferred.
  • Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
  • Ability to work under aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in classified accounting systems.
