Our Unified API allows developers to seamlessly offer integrations with a multitude of platforms. We are in search of a dynamic leader to spearhead the development, design, and support of enterprise-grade software that scales to millions of users.
Merge is on the lookout for a Head of Product Marketing to strategically establish and oversee our product marketing initiatives, driving Merge towards enhanced customer growth. We seek a leader who is deeply passionate about grasping customer requirements, delving into product intricacies, and crafting compelling messaging that promotes value-driven, innovative initiatives. This leadership position demands exceptional communication, leadership, and marketing expertise, and will involve close collaboration with teams across product, sales, growth, partnerships, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Narratives, Messaging, and Positioning: Create and refine positioning and messaging (covering market, company, platform, product, and competitive positioning) to empower sales teams in closing deals, supporting successful product launches, and disseminating through all market-facing communication channels (website, sales communications, content, etc.).
- Engage with Customers: Interact with current and potential customers, advocating for their needs and motivations in brand and product roadmap, guiding the team to promote new concepts and maximize the Merge experience.
- Design Customer Journey: Establish and maintain a comprehensive customer journey for buyer personas in collaboration with revenue leadership; utilize this to implement acquisition, activation, and expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales: Work alongside sales and other customer-facing teams to create proactive enablement materials, value tools, and strategies that enhance our ability to secure deals, advise customers, and enrich their experience with Merge.
- Educate Stakeholders: Inform industry analysts, prospects, and customers about Merge's vision and solutions through meetings, webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to event presentations, author engaging articles, and brief decision-makers to solidify our standing as a thought leader in the industry.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Marketing with a focus on strategic direction and ownership.
- Experience in leading a team of Product Marketers is advantageous.
- Ability to differentiate technical products for both technical users and economic decision-makers.
- Excellent written communication skills, characterized by clarity and conciseness.
- Engaging presentation skills effective in both small and large settings.
- Strong communication abilities to align with internal stakeholders, including sales, product management, and other marketing functions.
Compensation:
- The cash compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $230,000.
- Compensation packages are tailored based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees receive an equity compensation package.
