Head of Institutional Operations and Administration Manager

The J. Paul Getty Trust, The is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Institutional Operations and Administration to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the operational management of the Getty Conservation Institute, ensuring the smooth delivery of our international projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational strategies to support the GCI's mission and goals
- Lead the Administration team, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective management of institutional operations
- Collaborate with the GCI leadership team to identify and address complex operational challenges
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with Getty policies
- Provide leadership and guidance on risk management, ensuring the GCI's international work is conducted with minimal risk
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across the Getty, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- 10-15 years of experience in complex operational management, including budget management, project risk assessment, and policy development
- 10-15 years of supervisory and leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and budgeting practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
