Job Overview

Reports to: Lead Revenue Auditor

Position Summary:

The Revenue Compliance Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough audits of both gaming and non-gaming operations to ensure accurate revenue reporting and adherence to company policies regarding financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to relevant Tribal, Federal, and other legal regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of guest service by attentively addressing concerns and inquiries from guests and team members.
  • Conduct detailed audits of Electronic Gaming Devices, Bingo, Cage, Poker, and Food and Beverage operations using established protocols and checklists.
  • Leverage computerized systems to verify and document revenue, investigate discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare Exception Reports for any deviations from daily audit guidelines and generate the Daily Revenue Flash Report.
  • Collaborate with casino management to address any issues that arise during the auditing process.
  • Assist with the physical inventory count on a monthly basis as required.
  • Promote and embody the core values and skills of KLECH.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information associated with this role.
  • Complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 regulations, and Anti-Money Laundering policies, maintaining accurate records as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in navigating various computer applications is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Additional Criteria:

Preference is given to qualified members of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas and other Native American candidates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.

  • Effective communication skills are necessary, both in person and via telecommunications.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, touch-screen, telephone, and calculator is required.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office setting and casino floor environment.
  • Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with regular public interaction.

  • Extended hours and irregular shifts may be necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Employment Conditions:

  • Must obtain and maintain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including a successful background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to work is necessary.
  • Compliance with KLEC handbook, internal policies, and gaming regulations is mandatory.
