Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Guest Experience Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring a lively atmosphere and possesses comprehensive knowledge of the operational tools utilized in a bustling venue. This role requires substantial experience with reservation systems, particularly OpenTable, and the ability to manage and enhance guest profiles effectively. A background in leading Front of House teams is highly desirable.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and enhance the concierge program to elevate guest satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of host, coat check, and door staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Streamline guest flow during service to optimize the dining experience.
  • Develop and maintain reservation books to accommodate a high volume of patrons efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with hotels and other booking entities.
  • Ensure guest information is accurately maintained within the database.
  • Keep all guest-facing information current across online platforms, in-venue displays, and the reservations department, including operational details, marketing materials, and menus.
  • Engage with guests through review and social media channels to uphold a positive online reputation.
  • Serve as a dependable team member who contributes to a dynamic work environment and a rapidly expanding organization.
  • Assist in opening and closing the venue as needed in a managerial capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of business operations.
  • Expertise in restaurant management systems.
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into a team and establish leadership presence.
  • Proficient in identifying challenges, formulating solutions, and executing tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in delegation with professionalism.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including late nights.
