About the Job Title

This position is focused on the transportation market in North and South Carolina, offering opportunities to work from various locations, including South Charlotte, Charleston, SC, and Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement geotechnical engineering solutions for transportation projects.
  • Analyze data, conduct site visits, and prepare technical reports.
  • Interact with clients and manage project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Master Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or South Carolina.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience on transportation projects.
  • Experience with NCDOT and/or SCDOT preferred.
  • Displays strong technical skills in soil mechanics and geotechnical analyses and design.
  • Display experience with soft ground and high seismic geology.
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office, relevant technical software, CAD).

Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year.
