About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC. As a key member of our Hydrologic and Hydraulic Services group, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative transportation solutions across the Southeast region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling: Prepare technical planning, design, and construction support for hydrologic and hydraulic models, erosion control, stormwater abatement, and green infrastructure.
  • Design and Review: Review documents and design work for compliance with plans and specifications, perform engineering calculations, and develop hydrologic and hydraulic models.
  • Mentorship and Field Work: Mentor junior staff and interns in hydrology and hydraulics, conduct field investigations and assessments of project sites to aid in the hydraulic design process.
  • Specifications and Permit Submittals: Prepare and assist with specifications and permit submittals, develop preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.
  • DOT Compliance: Review documents and design work for DOT compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Client Meetings and Project Progress: Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings to discuss project progress, plan review, and pre-construction.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: 7-15 years of water resources experience in drainage design for highway and bridge construction projects is desired.
  • Certifications: PE required; PE in SC and/or GA desired.
  • Skillset: Expert experience utilizing civil engineering modeling software, including MicroStation, HydroCAD, Geopak drainage, and HEC-RAS, math calculation skills, MS Office experience.
