Outlet Sales Associate Key Holder

Location: Jackson, New Jersey US

POSITION SUMMARY:

At Talbots, we empower our customers to look and feel their best. The Outlet Sales Associate Key Holder (SAKH) plays a crucial role in cultivating a welcoming atmosphere through outstanding customer interactions. SAKHs engage with both new and returning customers, selling in a manner that is relevant and meaningful. Additionally, SAKHs may occasionally lead or supervise team members and are responsible for opening and closing the store.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Creating the Customer Experience:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs through intentional conversations.
  • Utilize company resources to enhance brand experience and build lasting relationships to achieve sales goals.
  • Effectively introduce customers to Talbots' hospitality and product offerings.
  • Represent the Talbots brand image professionally.

Business Acumen:

Stay informed about the business landscape, fashion trends, and key drivers to identify opportunities that maximize sales and meet financial objectives.

Operations:

  • Support operational excellence as required.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and local, state, and federal employment regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting performance standards.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Proficient in navigating computer systems with intermediate skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse work environment.
  • High school diploma required.
