About the Role

As a Market Development Manager at good2grow, you will play a key role in advancing our sales within assigned territories. You will collaborate with independent direct store delivery distributors to drive business performance and develop local chains within the independent and small format channels.

This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of the food/beverage/DSD sales sectors. You will use your existing experience to own and drive business performance within the Regional Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead distributors in the assigned region to own and drive annual business performance objectives through the use of Systematic Distributor Management.
  • Participate in distributor training, sales meeting presentations, ride alongs, and provide clear and concise follow-up notes after ride alongs and store visits.
  • Use the VIP Karma app to track, audit, follow up, and execute store visits.
  • Communicate with key influencers within the distributor organization on major opportunities at the retail level.
  • Develop larger chains, local chains, and the independent market.
  • Penetrate new accounts using targeted void reports.
  • Grow the number of good2grow SKUs available in the market.
  • Complete all administrative duties required on Friday office days.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time, regionally by car.
