Job Description:

As a Demand Planning Analyst Co-Op at Terex, you will be immersed in a challenging real-world project that drives business results at our global organization. Our Early Talent Program is designed to develop high-potential students into leaders of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, or service level improvements.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management, suppliers, and Buyers.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Improve and optimize Materials-related reporting for Buyers and Demand Planners.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain, business, or a similar field, or graduated within the last two years.
  • Able to work full-time for 6 months.
  • Ability to remain organized, manage time, and properly engage with suppliers and team members within Terex/Genie.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adaptable, innovative, and proactive.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Based in Bothell, WA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytics software.
  • Ability to recognize patterns and trends in large data sets and use numerical information to develop business strategies.
  • Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to summarize and explain complex information to others.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:

The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay.
