Financial Planner

At Ronald Blue & Co, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients and co-workers, analyzing confidential client information, and integrating biblical principles into customized financial plans to help clients and their families achieve their goals.

• Prepare customized financial plans that are tailored to the needs of clients and consistent with the team leader's goals and preferences.
• Utilize input from clients to prepare customized financial plans that incorporate client information and are consistent with client goals.
• Develop high-quality, accurate, and professional reports and presentations that reflect and incorporate Blue Trust's financial planning philosophy and principles into client recommendations.
• Provide cash flow analysis, including bonus payments and stock option planning.
• Assess gifting opportunities of cash, securities, or other property.
• Assist with tax planning to estimate tax withholding settings or quarterly tax payments, plans for cash, securities or other property gifting opportunities, bonus payments, and stock option planning.
• Prepare recommendations for clients utilizing planning expertise and knowledge of client's goals and circumstances, integrating Biblical principles and wisdom into the financial recommendations in a manner consistent with Blue Trust's financial planning philosophy.
• Exhibit technical knowledge and competency in cash flow planning, tax and charitable gift planning, education funding, debt management, retirement, insurance, and estate planning.
• Implement investment transactions utilizing company's trading software.
• Perform other investment management tasks such as tax loss harvesting, account rebalancing, and account reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or financial planning is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years' prior financial planning and/or financial service experience is strongly preferred.
• Certified Financial PlannerTM designation is strongly preferred.
• Additional education and credentials are a plus, such as a Master of Financial Planning, MBA, ChFC, or CPA.

Travel demands depend upon client base in assigned territory and may include occasional travel by car, air, or other reasonable means of transportation, to ensure clients are served in a manner consistent with Division's client service model.
