Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PBS Technology Implementation Specialist to join our Water & Protection team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions to meet our customer needs for a better, healthier, safer life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver Process Safety Management, Grow & Improve projects, and overall technology support in alignment with tactical and strategic Business Technology objectives for the DuPont Styrofoam XPS business.
  • Apply knowledge of the Styrofoam XPS technology to define and implement solutions for Process Safety Management and Grow & Improve projects.
  • Lead or participate in front-end loading of capital projects.
  • Participate in the Business Technology Implementation Plan (BTIP) reviews for the Styrofoam XPS plants – providing technical support and solutions.
  • Provide input into Shelter Multi-Generational Technology Plan (MGTP).
  • Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis.
  • Lead the North America Styrofoam XPS Efficiency Improvement Team (EIT) which leverages learnings and drives improvements across the XPS NA sites.
  • First contact in Manufacturing Technology for advanced troubleshooting for Operations.
  • Responsible for providing technical training and coaching to Operations Engineers and Technical staff.
  • Provide engineering support for Root Cause Investigations.
  • Lead or support qualification or trials for new products or raw materials.
  • Validate technical solutions and document results to drive toward a standardized Process Technology.
  • Provide technical input for Management of Change.
  • Lead or participate in Project Reviews.
  • Collaborate across Manufacturing Technology, Operations, Environment, Health, and Safety, Research and Development, etc.
Qualifications
  • BS Engineering discipline required. Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or related experience required.
  • Experience with Styrofoam XPS and/or chemistry is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Styrofoam XPS experience.
  • Learning agility – A personal drive to learn, pivot when necessary, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our company in the face of a changing world and customer base.
  • Intellectual curiosity – Proactively investing time and energy into learning more and personally developing, in the interest of improving yourself and delivering better results.
About the Role

This role has the potential for up to 20% of travel at certain times, including international travel.
