Medical Equipment Specialist

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited seeks a seasoned Medical Equipment Specialist to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems used in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering and experience managing a team of clinical engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Manage the budget for the clinical engineering department
- Oversee the installation and testing of new equipment
- Provide training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that equipment is integrated into the overall healthcare system
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in medical equipment
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical engineering
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and systems
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in medical equipment
